Ever since his student teaching days in Austin, Dr. Ridge Hammons has been drawn to helping students who need extra attention. His father, USMC Capt. Arnold Hammons, who had won several national humianitarian awards, including the National Observer Man of the Year, had always taught him to help those that could not help themselves. Coupled with this early training was the deep personal conviction that it was only through the assistance of others that he himself had succeeded. It is a moral imperative of Hammons Education Leadership Programs to focus on "the lamb that was lost." As you can see in the picture (left), everyone needs someone to look up to and to teach them how to fish.
