Through this web-site you will see numerous examples of students "learning by doing." The videos in this website are about onsite career mentoring.

Job-site mentoring is the central issue to the formation of Hammons Education Leadership Programs (HELP).

Our current program includes students from CCISD, West Oso, Flour Bluff and other local districts. The one thing they have in common is that they are signed up at Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend which means they are looking for job skills and preparing for their future.

We also have mentors at the following companies.

Valero - CITGO - Sherwin Alumina - Port of Corpus Christi - Air Liquide

There are 3 ways to be involved in job-site mentoring.

1. Be the mentor with the skills to share

2. Be the student (mentee) who is learning from the mentor

3. Donate time, money or resources to support the M&M relationship

The video below is central to our whole purpose for being.
